Vehicle Technician Needed in Stockport
1. Location: Stockport
2. Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Day Shifts Only. Overtime available, paid at time and a half.
3. Salary: £42,000 per annum OTE (Basic £36k per annum + £2,400 per annum bonus OTE + Overtime)
Our client, a leading vehicle rental specialist, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team at their newly refurbished Stockport branch. Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
4. Maintain and repair a variety of vehicles to ensure they are safe and legally compliant for customer hire.
5. Carry out diagnostics and repairs on all vehicle types in the fleet.
6. Perform regular vehicle checks and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
7. Adhere to safety procedures and maintain high standards of vehicle maintenance.
8. Ensure efficient service delivery with quick turnaround times in a well-equipped workshop.
9. Utilise your expertise to solve mechanical, electrical, and system issues efficiently.
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
10. Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years’ experience, or fully qualified Level 3 Technician/Mechanic.
11. Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, particularly in a commercial or fleet environment.
12. Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on a variety of vehicles.
13. Strong communication skills, working effectively within a team.
14. Full UK driving licence.

15. Internal IMI accredited training department with opportunities to upskill in Hybrid & EV vehicle repair, braking systems, electrics, and more.
16. Personalised training programmes available for those at Level 2 qualification.
