Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Trainee Freight Sales Administrator to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the global sales team by managing administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and enhancing end customer satisfaction.
This position requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various software applications.
The business is linked particularly with the marine logistics industry.
Duties
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team, ensuring all sales processes run efficiently.
* Maintain and update customer records in CRM software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
* Handle internal freight sales inquiries .
* Assist with the processing, and tracking freight sales.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of sales activities.
* Utilise bespoke software and excel spreadsheets for financial record keeping and reporting as required.
* Manage time effectively to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Skills
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Outlook) is essential.
* Strong computer skills with a high level of computer literacy.
* Familiarity with CRM type software desired.
* Strong administrative experience with a focus on sales administration functions.
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Happy to use phone.
* Time management skills to prioritise workload effectively.
* Logistics experience helpful but not essential.
* Marine industry knowledge helpful but not essential.
