Shift Manager Role
The Shift Manager reports to the Operations Manager and leads all aspects of the daily shift operation, ensuring cost-effectiveness and productivity. The role involves ensuring service levels meet SLA and KPI targets, and managing team members to achieve customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the warehousing operation, ensuring effective and accurate sortation of goods.
2. Ensure all activities comply with company policies, maintaining safety and proactivity.
3. Manage costs and performance of the shift.
4. Lead and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service.
5. Manage performance, conduct, absence, engagement, and training of team members, holding them accountable to standards.
6. Monitor KPIs, identify actions, and communicate areas for improvement.
7. Provide shift summaries and handover records, detailing any exceptions and actions taken.
Essential Criteria
* Previous experience in logistics or distribution industry.
