Responsibilities
* Assist employees with questions and resolve technical work problems.
* Provide training as needed, appraise employee performance, reward and discipline when warranted, and address complaints and resolve issues.
* Assist the Service Manager in screening candidates, conducting interviews, and hiring.
* Help technicians develop their skills and ensure they receive appropriate manufacturer’s training.
* Greet customers and communicate clearly and professionally about any changes in repairs that could affect cost or delivery.
* Perform diagnostic and documentation functions on the company computer system.
* Schedule repair work and assign technicians to tasks matching their skill levels to ensure quality.

Basic Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED.
* At least 9 years of experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
* Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and insurability.
