Adepto Technical Recruitment are pleased to be supporting an established and highly respected UK engineering business who are looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to support the continued growth of its Industrial Extraction Division. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to join a specialist business operating in the dust and fume extraction / LEV systems space, with responsibility for growing sales of new systems, modifications, and improvement projects across the UK.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing both new and existing client relationships across a varied industrial customer base. The position combines business development, account management, technical site surveying, and solution-led selling, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a field-based role with a strong blend of commercial and technical engagement.
Key responsibilities will include;
* Driving sales growth across the product and service portfolio
* Conducting site surveys
* Preparing detailed site notes and sketches to support quotation development
* Contributing to the initial design concept of proposed LEV systems.
* You will also work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless handover from quotation through to installation, while maintaining strong communication with customers throughout the sales process.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a proven track record in sales, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Furthermore, previous experience within industrial extraction or a related technical environment would be considered advantageous, though not essential, whilst an understanding of LEV system design criteria would be highly beneficial.
