MPI has a requirement for Aircraft Technicians, ideally with Merlin Helicopter experience, but will consider other rotary aircraft experience.

Our client offers exciting opportunities for Aircraft Technicians (Merlin) at the Royal Navy Air Station (RNAS) Culdrose, Helston. They support the IMOS (Integrated Merlin Operational Support) and AESES (Air Engineering and Aviation Support) contracts, involving repair and maintenance of military aircraft and off-aircraft support services. Culdrose is one of the Navy's two principal air bases and a busy UK military airfield.
You will support aircraft engineering services across both the IMOS and AESES contracts, ensuring operational deliverables and interfaces are met in a highly regulated environment. As an aircraft engineering fitter, you'll complete contracted tasks, adhere to customer policies and regulations (including HASAW Act 1974), and address customer complaints, quality issues, and business risks with team leads. You will also handle administrative duties and participate in further training to develop your skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities include:
1. Performing aircraft maintenance and support tasks on Merlin or other rotary aircraft.
2. Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
3. Participating in training and development activities.
Requirements:
* Minimum of approximately 3 years experience in an airworthiness environment, with relevant experience on Merlin or other rotary aircraft.
* Experience with Merlin aircraft engineering, systems, and support equipment; other rotary experience considered.
* Understanding of Lean Operating Procedures.
* Knowledge of Naval Air Publications and CIETP.
* Commitment to health and safety regulations, COSHH, tool control, and quality practices.
* Understanding of engineering and asset management systems.
* Completed a Maintenance Human Factors course.
