What you'll be doing:
To organise and supervise the unit in accordance with standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland, the contract specification, and statutory regulations. Responsible for the overall efficient management of the unit, providing a quality service. Oversee preparation, cooking, and service of food to standards and specifications. Ensure the efficient use of resources, including stock, team members, and assets.

Key responsibilities include:
* Provide guidance and a strategic approach to managing the business through your team.
* Previous Contract Catering Experience
* Communicate, motivate, and guide your management team and catering staff daily. Set operational responsibilities and monitor performance.
* Take responsibility for food and health & safety procedures in the college catering department.
* Communicate regularly with the client.
* Complete action plans following customer satisfaction surveys.
* Promote the unit and act as a Compass Group advocate.
* Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
* Ensure all client hospitality is delivered to standard and seek feedback.
* Identify opportunities to enhance service and discuss with your line manager.
* Bring innovation and flair.
* Operate within the budget, monitor trends, and take corrective actions if necessary.
* Ensure customer requirements are met in line with expectations.
