About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated General Practitioner (GP) to join our expanding team under the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS). You will work collaboratively within our team to deliver high‑quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery, and work closely with clinical leads and the local practice team to support the delivery of the surgery’s operational plan.

Responsibilities
* Provide clinical care to patients in line with a total triage model, including in‑person and video consultations, telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews, prescription signing, and other clinical administration.
* Maintain high personal and professional standards as set out by the GMC, putting individual patient care as your priority.
* Participate in clinical governance activity, conduct audits, and contribute to the improvement of health outcomes through QOF and other quality standards, including CQC standards.
* Support the delivery and review of the surgery action plan, including list growth, patient satisfaction levels, QOF, and enhanced services.
* Engage in education, training activities, and professional development, and attend audits, meetings, and training events as required.
Other Responsibilities Within the Organisation
* Comply with all relevant practice policies, including prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, and health and safety.
* Contribute to clinical standard setting, support the development of computer-based patient records, and ensure accurate summarising and coding of patient data.
* Attend training and professional events organised by the Practice or external agencies.
* Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and team members, recognising the need for alternative communication methods.
* Support the implementation of practice policies, standards, and guidance, and participate in audits where appropriate.
* Maintain confidentiality, health and safety, equality and diversity, and professional development standards throughout the role.
Qualifications
* Full GMC registration with a licence to practice and entry on the GP register (certificate of completion within 2 years and no substantive post held before).
* Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice / Certificate Confirming Eligibility for General Practice Registration (CEGPR), or equivalent.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Desirable
* EMIS Web user.
* Experience or interest in ENT, frailty/elderly care, or mental health.
