The Role
As a Therapeutic Adult Support Worker, you will:
* Deliver person‑centred, therapeutic support tailored to individual needs
* Promote independence by supporting daily living skills (ADLs) such as cooking, budgeting, and personal care
* Build trusting, respectful relationships that empower service users to make informed choices
* Support individuals to maintain safe, stable tenancies and positive home environments
* Enable access to education, employment, and community opportunities
* Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and multi‑agency partners
* Maintain accurate, high‑quality records in line with regulatory and organisational standards
* Act as a positive role‑model, demonstrating professionalism and emotional resilience
Shift Pattern
* Full‑time (40 hours) or part‑time (24 hours) available
Typical shifts include:
* 8:00pm – 8:00am
Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the individuals we support.
About You
You will:
* Have at least 6 months’ recent experience in a relevant setting with direct or transferable skills
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to person‑centred and values‑based care
* Be compassionate, reliable, and emotionally aware
* Show accountability and professionalism in your practice
* Communicate effectively with service users, families, and professionals
* Be adaptable, resilient, and willing to learn and develop
