Highway project with major earthworks

Redfish Infrastructure are partnering with a leading Principal Contractor delivering a major highway project in Yorkshire. We are seeking a Senior Site Engineer with experience of new highway construction with significant earthworks experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Setting out
* Programming and co-ordinating site activities
* Daily and weekly co-ordination of sub-contractors
* Ensuring compliance with safe systems of work
* Ensuring all works comply with highways and project specification and drawings
* Writing and reviewing Inspection and Test Plans for works (ITP)
* Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with approved ITP
* Ensuring all activities on site are recorded through daily diaries and photographs
* Raising technical queries relating to the design
* Attend daily co-ordination and weekly planning meetings
* Deliver workforce briefings and inductions
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
* Civil Engineering related qualification (HNC, HND, BSc MSc, BEng, Meng)
* Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering infrastructure projects in a site role
* Site Management Safety Training Scheme SMSTS
* Other training such as work at height, IPAF, TWS, TWC, lifting appointed persons
* Experience in some or all: major earthworks, box culverts, formwork, reinforced concrete (FRC), associated temporary works.
