Social Worker - Harborough Cognitive and Physical Disabilities Team - Leicester, UK - £34 Hourly
Embark on a rewarding journey with an exciting locum opportunity for a Social Worker within the Harborough Cognitive and Physical Disabilities Team in Leicester. This role offers an ongoing commitment of three months, with flexible full-time or part-time options available. Earn £34 per hour while making a significant impact on the lives of others. If you have experience in Cognitive and Physical Disability and have completed your ASYE, we are looking for talented social workers to join us temporarily to help reduce waiting times for our vital services.

What you will do:

- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including healthcare professionals, families, and carers to coordinate comprehensive care and support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with local and national guidelines and policies.
- Provide emotional and practical support to individuals and their families, fostering a supportive and empathetic environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities.
- Completed Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).
- Flexibility in working arrangements and a collaborative approach to working with individuals.
- Strong commitment to reducing waiting times through focused and compassionate care.
