Join McLaren Racing’s Composite Assembly Manufacturing Team – 2026 F1 Car Build
We are recruiting for multiple roles within our Composite Assembly Manufacturing Team to support the build of McLaren Racing’s 2026 Formula One car. These positions are based at McLaren Racing Composites (MRC) and will focus on the production of high-performance composite parts and assemblies for our F1 team.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Produce parts 100% to engineering drawings
2. To ensure all parts conform to specific instruction sheets
3. Inspection of completed components
4. Trim and Assemble carbon fibre components
5. Initial assembly of new car parts
6. Servicing items from races and tests
7. Preparation of parts for Non Destructive Testing inspection
8. Participation in continuous improvement activities
Job requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
9. Experience of trimming and assembling Carbon fibre is essential
10. Ability to read engineering drawings and an engineering skills background
11. Good practical skills
12. Problem solving skills
13. Ability to work under pressure
14. Basic PC literacy

McLaren Racing Composites (MRC) is based at the McLaren Racing Composites Facility in Woking Business Park. This is a state-of-the-art production centre with the latest in CNC machines and autoclave technology, an open plan office, gym and quiet room. The site is situated on the canal for easy walking and cycling commutes as well as local amenities within walking distance.
