Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Recruitment Officer – Medical Workforce to join the newly established Medical Workforce team based at UHCW, providing an efficient, comprehensive and timely medical recruitment service. These are key roles in providing a varied and general administrative support to the wider Medical Workforce team.
Responsibilities
* Creating adverts and organising interview schedules for medical interviews.
* Undertaking pre‑employment clearance checks for all non‑training grade medics, including completing offers/contracts of employment.
* Maintaining accurate filing systems and inputting and updating data to the relevant recruitment systems.
* Organising the recruitment activity and managing all recruitment activities for all (training and non‑training grades) medical staff within the Trust.
* Planning personal files and onboarding new employees.
* Collaborating with hiring managers, senior clinicians, HR People Partners and group managers to lead recruitment initiatives.
* Ensuring all recruitment checks are undertaken in line with NHS employment check standards.
Qualifications and Experience
* Excellent customer‑service skills.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Ability to work in a busy environment with ever‑changing priorities and deadlines.
* Previous experience in a recruitment role is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
