EDRMS Specialist – SC Cleared
We are looking for an experienced EDRMS Specialist to support the configuration, enhancement, and assurance of secure document and records management systems within a national security client. This role plays a critical part in enabling the compliant handling of sensitive, classified, and operationally critical information.
You’ll work across a multi-supplier, high-security environment to ensure systems meet legal, technical, and operational information management standards, with a focus on usability, auditability, and classification integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, enhance, and assure the operation of the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).
Support the integration of EDRMS with wider platforms
Ensure correct implementation of information classification, access controls, audit logging, and document lifecycle rules.
Work with Knowledge and Information Management (KIM) leads to ensure system configurations align with data retention and protection policies, including MoPI, GDPR, and broader security policies.Essential Experience
Experience delivering, configuring, or supporting EDRMS platforms in public sector or national security environments (e.g. Objective, Meridio, SharePoint with records management, or OpenText).
Understanding of secure information handling, including the UK Government Security Classification Scheme (SCS) and access control models.
Experience applying records lifecycle principles, including retention, archiving, redaction, and destruction.
Hands-on experience implementing metadata schemes, taxonomies, and information architecture within EDRMS tools
