DO & CO are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Health & Safety Coordinator who will drive health and safety standards through the provision of advice, support, and guidance.
The Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that DO & CO adheres to all applicable health and safety regulations while providing support to employees and managers in maintaining a safe workplace.
This role involves investigating accidents or near misses to identify root causes and recommending measures to prevent recurrence, including changes to equipment, procedures, or processes.
1. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
2. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
3. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
4. Provide safety training to employees on hazard identification, emergency response, and safe work practices.
5. Prepare safety performance reports and present findings to management.
6. Collaborate with management to develop safety improvement initiatives.
7. Conduct risk assessments and assist in developing risk mitigation strategies.
8. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.

Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role.
* Deep knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
* Experience in airside operations is advantageous but not necessary.
* Excellent report writing and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as our operation runs 7 days a week.
