I am working with one of the UK's leading names in sustainable forestry and timber harvesting. From woodland creation to harvesting, you will be at the heart of well-managed, commercially viable forestry projects.
What You Will Be Doing:
1. Deliver top-tier woodland management and forestry contracting services to new and existing clients.
2. Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
3. Create budgets, write reports, manage work programs, and handle grant applications.
4. Take the lead on productive forestry operations and new woodland creation projects.
5. Work closely with teams across forestry, business development, investment, and harvesting.
6. Grow and manage a diverse client portfolio
7. Balance high-quality forest management with excellent client experiences.
What You Need:
8. Solid experience in forestry or a similar field.
9. Strong grasp of commercial practices and relationship management.
10. Knowledge of upland conifer forest management.
11. A natural team player who thrives in cross-functional collaboration.
12. Business development experience is a bonus.
13. Familiarity with the UK Forestry Standard, UKWAS, and Forestry Grant Schemes (desirable).
14. Membership in a professional body like the Institute of Chartered Foresters (desirable).
15. Full UK driving licence.
