JOB TITLE: Project Support Officer
JOB LOCATION: Peterborough

JOB DURATION: 1 role will be for 3 months, the other will be for 9 months with future potential for extension or even permanent.
JOB SALARY: £28000 to £32000 depending on your previous experience
JOB HOURS: hours per week, Monday to Friday

Your new role
As the Project Support Officer, you’ll play a key role in co‑ordinating a substantial project as the business re-shapes, designed to support the organisation’s future success. Working closely with the Project Manager, you’ll ensure project activities are tracked, documented and delivered effectively.You will maintain core project documentation including Gantt charts, action and change logs and the risk register.
You’ll also help contribute to embedding consistent project management methodologies across the organisation.You’ll work with stakeholders across multiple teams, ensuring everyone has clarity on timelines, deliverables and progress.
At times, you might need to deputise for the Project Manager in meetings and you’ll play a key part in promoting a strong project culture throughout the business.
PLEASE NOTE – this is NOT a technology or IT focussed project, this is change management.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll bring a strong background in project support or project coordination and a genuinemitment to delivering high quality oues. To be successful in this role, your CV should demonstrate:
1. Proven experience delivering projects on time, on quality and on budget – even better if you've worked on several projects at once.
2. Experience working as part of a project team and understanding project management methodologies
3. Consistent achievement of performance targets
4. Experience working collaboratively to implement business change
5. Ability to manage deadlines and drive projects topletion
6. Your own vehicle to be able to travel between sites (all in Peterborough)
PRINCE2 or PRINCE2 Agile Foundation qualification is preferred, will be highly regarded and will fast track your application.
