Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with SEND? We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate individuals to work within mainstream primary schools across Sunderland, starting in September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis within the main classroom environment.
About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Work 1:1 with pupils who require additional support
* Support children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
* Help pupils access learning within a mainstream classroom setting
* Build strong, supportive relationships to encourage progress and confidence
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience working with children with SEND
* A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing
