We are working with this leading international law firm who are looking to grow their personal injury offering in Bristol. This is not a regular EL/PL injury role. The successful candidate will be working with predominantly self-insured corporate clients across a range of exciting sectors such as research and development and pharmaceuticals on an equally impressive variety of matters.
Not only does the role involve personal injury work, but because of the nature of the claims, you will also gain access to the regulatory aspects which arise out of such claims. As such, you will gain experience of regulatory investigations as well as possible inquests.
Job Overview
* Job Title: Personal Injury Solicitor (NQ+)
* Salary: Up to £68,000
* Experience Level: NQ – 5 PQE
* Practice Area: Personal Injury (Defendant EL/PL) – the majority of the work will be defendant EL/PL with some exposure to regulatory work
* Reporting To: Two Partners
Who would suit this role
The Partners are considering a wide range of candidates. However, as a guide they are looking for:
* Newly qualified (NQ) Solicitors up to 5 PQE with defendant personal injury experience although it should be stressed that all levels of PQE will be considered.
* Lawyers with strong EL/PL litigation skills.
* Candidates interested in regulatory law, inquests, and investigations (experience preferred but not essential).
* Professionals looking to join a leading law firm with a commitment to career growth and development.
Key responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of EL/PL claims (fast-track and multi-track).
* Provide expert legal advice on personal injury litigation.
* Work on investigations, inquests, and regulatory cases related to claims.
* Collaborate with partners and senior solicitors to develop legal strategies on complex personal injury cases arising out of product liability disputes.
