JOB SUMMARY
To create design solutions using Revit from customer briefs, facilitating the manufacture of stunning customer-focused and prototype residential and leisure homes. The role involves conducting design specification appointments with customers to produce comprehensive plans and specifications tailored to their needs.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
While there is some flexibility depending on the candidate's skills, the design department's duties include:
Primary
* Create detailed plans and specifications for complex customer designs, ensuring they meet customer and business needs.
* Collaborate with the sales design team to provide bespoke space planning solutions, liaising directly with customers when required.
* Ensure all home designs comply with relevant British and European standards and are accurately priced.
* Follow company processes and contribute to developing internal protocols for continuous improvement.
* Support the design of prototype homes as needed.
* Apply rigorous checks to plans and specifications before customer approval.
* Create visuals for new models and bespoke designs.
Secondary
* Provide information for procurement of materials and support sourcing new materials.
* Work closely with production facilities to develop and communicate manufacturing solutions, aiming to improve efficiency.
* Create manufacturing details for customer-specific homes.
* Maintain standard information libraries, including layouts, drawings, and component modules.

ATTRIBUTES
Qualifications
* A creative portfolio or work samples.
* Formal qualification and/or experience with 3D design software.
* Revit experience in family creation is advantageous.
