My client are a major retail business going through a big period of change. They are a very well known brand with an excellent market reputation.
Job Description
The key responsibilities within the role:
* Support with Property analysis and decision making on lease deals
* Preparing business cases - eg for store resites
* Tracking closure costs & separation costs
* Analytical review of costs and incomes being charged
* Supporting with finance separation workload
* Stock & logistics analysis
* Support with developing new Commercial Finance reports (in Power BI or other systems)
* Support with planning cycles (budgets, strategic plans, re-forecasts)
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will possess the following:
* A full and recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
* Experience of Business Partnering
* Experience of working across business functions in a collaborative way
* Proven record of budgeting / forecasting / month end responsibilities
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent organisational skills and a flexible attitude
* Proven ability of working with senior executives
* Highly numerate and analytical and ability to present data to a compelling way
* Advanced Excel skills
What's on Offer
This position can be either day rate or on a fixed term contract basis and is a highly competitive rate/salary that will depend on experience. This requires candidates available either immediately or at very short notice and that live within a commutable distance of Swindon for hybrid working.
