Account Manager Near Steyning Up to £30,000 Commission A growing distributor based near Steyning is looking for a Account Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with sales or customer service experience who enjoys building relationships and developing business. You’ll manage customer accounts, respond to enquiries, and proactively generate new opportunities while delivering excellent customer service. The Role This role combines account management, inbound enquiries, and outbound sales within a busy and supportive sales team. Key Responsibilities • Manage the sales enquiries inbox (orders and quotes) • Act as the main contact for allocated customers • Make outbound calls to generate new business • Handle incoming calls and email enquiries • Prepare and send customer quotations quickly and accurately • Identify upselling opportunities within existing accounts • Resolve queries relating to orders, pricing, or delivery • Build long-term customer relationships • Work closely with internal teams across the business • Attend sales meetings, training and occasional trade events Candidate Requirements • Experience in sales, account management or customer service • Comfortable working towards targets or KPIs • Strong telephone and communication skills • Good organisation and time management • Confident using Microsoft Office • Positive, proactive and team-focused attitude • Full driving licence and access to own vehicle Package Up to £30,000 salary commission
