We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fabricator to join our manufacturing client. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, preparing materials, and fabricating components to high-quality standards. This role requires strong practical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a production team. Roles & Responsibilities Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and job specifications. Fabricate, assemble, and modify components using a variety of materials such as steel, aluminium, and alloys. Operate workshop machinery and hand tools including saws, grinders, welders, brake presses, and cutting equipment. Perform MIG welding to a high standard. Measure, cut, shape, and fit materials accurately according to specifications. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure accuracy and conformance. Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet project deadlines. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised working environment. Identify material shortages, equipment issues, or design concerns and escalate where necessary. Support continuous improvement activities to enhance workshop efficiency and quality. Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in a fabrication, welding, or manufacturing environment. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Experience working with metalwork tools and workshop machinery. NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Fabrication, Welding, Engineering, or related field. Forklift or overhead crane licence. Experience in CNC machinery or CAD/CAM systems. Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. On offer is a competitive salary bonus scheme and enhanced holiday rate
