Field Service Engineer
We offer a competitive salary scale that depends on your experience, with flexible working hours of either 40 or 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday). Additional benefits include shift premiums, overtime opportunities (time-plus-half for Monday to Saturday and some bank holidays, double time on Sundays and some bank holidays), 25 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays, and extra leave for long‑service milestones.

Responsibilities
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency.
* Conduct preventive maintenance check‑ups to keep the fleet running smoothly.
* Travel to various customer locations to service Linde forklifts and other current‑generation material handling equipment.
* Build strong relationships with customers and deliver exceptional support.
* Be proactive, manage on‑the‑go challenges, and act as an integral part of customer operations.
Qualifications
* Experience as a vehicle technician or mechanical engineer, especially forklift, plant fitter, plant technician, or vehicle technician.
* Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is highly desirable.
* NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
* Comfortable using IT equipment to maintain accurate records and place orders.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
