We have a 20-hour post available in the phlebotomy department at Walsall Manor Hospital. The post holder will carry out phlebotomy (blood sample collection) in inpatient wards, outpatient departments, and the antenatal clinic. We also cover two external sites, for which training will be provided.
We operate a Monday to Sunday service, and the post holder will participate in a 7-day rota, including bank holidays. If you are enthusiastic, flexible, and take pride in your work, this could be a great opportunity for you.
An opportunity has arisen for experienced phlebotomists or individuals who have completed phlebotomy training to join the Phlebotomy Service at Walsall Manor Hospital.
You will be responsible for taking blood samples from inpatients and outpatients. The role requires the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a pressurized environment. Physical requirements include walking, bending, and handling medium loads over extended periods.
