You will be at the forefront of our mission to bring eye care to those who can't easily access it, embodying our commitment to care without boundaries.
You will have the opportunity to help our most vulnerable patients with their eyesight in their own environments. You will encounter a range of conditions and increased pathology, making the role clinically engaging and a refreshing change from the test room environment. You will deliver our life-changing service, supporting patients and providing vital eye care to those who may struggle to get to the high street unaided.
What to Expect:
* Travel across the South East, with clinics scheduled in clusters where practicable (3-4 days in a similar location)
* Overnight stays (every other week)
* 7-8 home visit patients per day or 14-18 care home residents per day
* Hybrid days, including home visits and care homes
* 4-week schedules will be produced where possible
Key Accountabilities
* Ensuring you provide an outstanding experience for your patients.
* Fulfilling your working schedules because every patient matters.
* Adapting your communication style to build instant and lasting relationships.
* Providing clear and appropriate test recommendations to patients, their carers, and family members.

* Creating time to seek feedback on performance and making necessary adjustments.
* Using your expertise to deliver against GOC standards throughout all clinics.
* Always prioritizing your safety.
* Keeping up to date with CPD and contributing to clinical and commercial reviews.
* Creating strong working relationships with support teams and clinical liaison teams.
* Providing exceptional eye test services to all patients.
* Following professional and sector guidance wherever possible and practicable.
* Explaining each procedure clearly as you conduct the eye test.
* Participating and contributing to clinical and commercial reviews.
* Ensuring all statutory and mandatory training is completed.
