Role Profile
Wincanton now part of the GXO are looking for a Class 2 Driver who has a passion for customer service to join our team in Bellshill carrying out a mixture of deliveries for our Wickes contract.
1. £16.40 per hour
2. £38376 per annum + max annual bonus can be earned £1892.80, divided by 12 and paid monthly
3. 45 hours per week
4. Tuesday to Saturday starting between 0500 and 0700
5. Overtime paid at £16.40 per hour
Delivering kitchen and bathroom flatpack products as part of a two person crew to customer houses and flats.

Key Responsibilities:
14. Drive Company vehicles and operate Company equipment in a safe and professional manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures and legislation
15. Comply with the vehicle security and standing procedure at all times
16. Carry out vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks prior to the operation of any vehicle, reporting any defects immediately
17. Report any delivery issues or exceptions in a timely manner
18. On return to site, you will report to the traffic office for full debrief
19. This role ability to self-manage and use initiative for solving problems
20. Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident and damage reporting
Experience and Qualifications
21. Must hold a valid in date Class 2 licence
22. Must hold a Valid Digital Tachograph Card
23. Full Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
24. Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience
25. Previous experience in a customer facing role would be an advantage
26. Have a positive, flexible attitude to work.
27. Good timekeeper, with the ability to work unsupervised
28. DBS check will be undertaken
Due to the nature of the work this role is physically demanding, and heavy manual handling is required. It is therefore essential that the successful applicant is capable to carry out this nature of work.
