A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Senior Engineering Geologist to join a well-established ground investigation consultancy in Harrogate. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of residential, commercial and major infrastructure projects while taking on increased responsibility within a growing technical team.
The successful Senior Engineering Geologist will be responsible for managing projects from initial tender stage through to final delivery, combining technical reporting with site supervision and client-facing responsibilities. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and supporting the continued growth of the team.

The role of the Senior Engineering Geologist will involve:
* Managing and delivering ground investigation projects
* Overseeing site investigations and supervising subcontractors
* Logging soil and rock to current industry standards
* Producing and reviewing factual and interpretative reports
* Completing Phase 1 and Phase 2 geoenvironmental assessments
* Geotechnical analysis including slope stability and foundation recommendations
* Client liaison and project management responsibilities
* Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and geologists
