This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Clinical Scientist to join our Radiotherapy team. The Department has recently upgraded its linacs and IT infrastructure, with plans for further expansion of our brachytherapy services.
You will be expected to have the experience required to act at a Consultant Clinical Scientist level, working collaboratively with clinical, scientific, and management teams to ensure exemplary cancer services. Specifically, the postholder will:
1. Deputise for the Head of Radiotherapy Physics in managing scientific and technical services.
2. Take scientific lead for Quality Assurance/Dosimetry and clinical implementation of new treatment techniques.
3. Mentor and coordinate Clinical Scientist Trainees across the Medical Physics Directorate.
