Our Bosville, Marmalade, and Bracken Hide Hotels are hiring a Cluster Head Housekeeper to join their team in Portree, The Isle of Skye. This is a full-time, permanent contract, and you will work 45 hours a week, Monday through Sunday.
As a Cluster Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and developing the overall operations of the housekeeping departments in accordance with the company’s standards. This includes ensuring all hotel areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained according to hygiene guidelines. You will pay close attention to detail and manage the housekeeping team efficiently to ensure staff satisfaction and optimal performance.
Prior experience with Stayntouch, Trustyou, and RotaCloud systems is preferred but not required.

The Bosville Hotel, in Portree. The Bosville is contained within a trio of 18th-century cottages that have been lovingly restored and converted. Our refined but cozy accommodation is situated right in the centre of Portree, opposite the harbour, with some of the best views in town.
The Marmalade Hotel, in Portree. Set majestically in mature gardens, commanding views over the village of Portree, the loch, and the Cuillin Mountains, Marmalade is the perfect location to enjoy everything Skye has to offer. A beautiful juxtaposition of the historic Manor House and contemporary architecture, this 4-star hotel welcomes guests who appreciate design details and luxurious comfort.
The Bracken Hide Hotel, in Portree. The Bracken Hide is a new four-star wilderness hotel, which connects guests to the magic of the Island, the stunning land and seascapes, and the nature that abounds. Located on 52 acres to the west of Portree, it is close enough to walk into Portree.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Organize employee schedules, ensure ongoing training, and hold staff meetings to update on procedures and policies.
* Ensure all shifts are properly staffed, maintaining team productivity and room cleanliness.
* Maintain bedrooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Manage stock levels for chemicals, consumables, and linen using a par stocking process.
* Ensure all procedures related to COSHH and chemical use are followed at all times.
* Foster a positive employee relations culture through effective communication with the housekeeping team.
* Work closely with linen suppliers to ensure timely counts and orders, maintaining appropriate linen stock levels in line with occupancy.
* Keep housekeeping back-of-house areas tidy and well-stocked.
* Follow guest relations policies, addressing guests politely and ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.
