Job Title: Family Peer Network Coordinator
Location: County Hall, West Bridgford, NG2 7QP.
Salary: £26,824 - £29,540 per annum (pro rata).
Contract: Permanent, Part Time, 18.5 hours per week, Hybrid.

Overview
The Children and Families Department takes a strengths‑based approach to working with each other, children, young people and families, and our partner agencies. The Family Peer Network Coordinator will support the development of the Peers4Peers service, providing peer support to adopters at various stages of their journey.
Responsibilities
* Recruit, train, develop and support experienced adopter peer mentor volunteers.
* Provide advice and guidance to peer mentors while acting as a positive role model.
* Engage and support peer mentors, enabling their active participation across the service.
* Support the inclusion of adopter lived experience within AEM training offers.
* Enable peer mentors to contribute to service development through co‑production.
* Positively influence and represent the voice of adopters across the region.
* Maintain a virtual presence within the adoption community via the AEM website and social media.
Qualifications
* Experienced adoptive parent.
* Passionate about peer mentoring and community support.
* Comfortable sharing aspects of lived experience in various settings.
* Excellent communicator with strong listening and relationship‑building skills.
* Willingness and ability to travel across Nottinghamshire, Nottingham City, Derbyshire and Derby City.
