Quantity Surveyor - Cambridgeshire
Location: Northamptonshire, Midlands
Job Type: Permanent, Hybrid Working (x2 days office)
Salary Expectations: £40,000 - £65,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits
The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a utilities contractor to across Water, Highways, and Power industries that are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor.
The Quantity Surveyor will be on a full time permanent joining the commercial team to deliver cost value reconciliation, assessments, and forecasts.
Responsibilities:
* Regular site visits and liaising with the production team and project managers.
* Reviewing and negotiating NEC contracts (Option A & B).
* Analysing rates & prices and agreement of variations and / or compensation events as required.
* Forecasting accurate project rates to assist with tenders and live works.
* Reviewing CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliation)
* Allocating work to sub-contractors including assistance with procurement when required.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor working alongside water, power or highways industry.
* Proven working knowledge of NEC forms of contract.
* Excellent negotiation, commercial and communication skills.
