We’re currently seeking a proactive and hands-on Estates Officer to join a busy Estates and Facilities team, overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a portfolio of multi-tenant buildings. This is a temporary opportunity with potential for a permanent position following the initial 3-month term. The Opportunity: This role is key to ensuring the smooth running, compliance, and functionality of key office sites and buildings. You will: Ensure buildings are safe, compliant, and meet the needs of the people working within them Oversee facilities such as maintenance, cleaning, and contractor coordination Manage installations, refurbishments, and planned worksKey Responsibilities: Set up and clear down rooms for meetings and events Conduct weekly fire alarm testing and ensure building safety compliance Raise and manage reactive maintenance jobs with contractors Oversee general upkeep, including rubbish disposal and repair coordination Manage risk assessments, health and safety checks, and contractor sign-offs Respond to facility-related complaints and maintain accurate records Support budget management for ongoing estates work Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota (evenings/weekends)What You’ll Bring: Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (essential) IT literate and comfortable using building management systems Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Experience writing and updating risk assessments Ability to manage a varied and busy workload Strong communication and reporting skills Basic understanding of facilities budgeting and maintenance trackingWhy Apply?
