Working Arrangement: Hybrid working – office attendance typically 1 day per week
Salary: £49,000 to £56,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Governance & Regulatory Lawyer to join a dynamic and well-regarded in-house legal team within a major regional public body. This role offers exposure to a broad range of public law disciplines with a particular focus on employment law, litigation, regulatory and governance matters.
About the Role
Working within a well-regarded in-house team, you will provide advice across a broad portfolio of regulatory and governance matters. You’ll play a key role in ensuring legal compliance, supporting decision-making, and advising on complex legal issues that impact strategic projects across the region.
Areas of Work Include:
Employment law: contracts, TUPE, disciplinaries, redundancies, and organisational change
Governance: committee arrangements, officer delegations, ethical standards, and constitutional matters
Regulatory and compliance matters
Litigation, including debt recovery and civil claims...
