Here, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of cutting-edge technologies, including IoT systems, exploring the possibilities of VR/AR integration, and developing seamless data synchronization across multiple screens. We\'re seeking a skilled Full-Stack JavaScript Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our innovative drone software platform.
Work Location: Hybrid - Remote / Southampton SO19
Reports to: Chief Technology Officer
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain our drone software platform using React for the front-end and Node.js for the back-end.
* Design and implement RESTful APIs.
* Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive interfaces.
* Contribute to our Components Library (internal npm package).
* Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
* Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
* Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role.
* In-depth knowledge of React.js.
* Experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express.
* Familiarity with database technologies (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
* Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration.
* Experience with Git.
* Knowledge of front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications
* Experience with TypeScript.
* Familiarity with GraphQL.
* Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
* Knowledge of Docker.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
* Experience with drone software, robotics, or IoT systems.
* Fluency in English is essential.
* Flexible and a team player.
