Fixed Term Contract - 12months.

37.5 hours per week
Shifts are 8-12 hours long
4 night shifts per month only!
Monday - Friday work only

* Registered Nurse with a current active NMC PIN
* A minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in Hospital/ NHS
* Ability to be flexible with a rota
* Able to work 4 night shifts per month
* Undertaken a relevant phlebotomy course and current clinical practice in this area
* Evidence of continuous professional development
* Relevant orthopaedic experience
* Good IT skills and ability to use clinical data systems
* Basic understanding of patient care issues in day surgery.
* Be able to demonstrate knowledge of NMC professional code of conduct and its application.
* Understanding of fundamentals of nursing care and ability to deliver a high standard of individualised care.
* Up to date clinical skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and some experience of managing a small team.
* Ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload.
