Mash Productions is a video marketing agency and the child of Mash Media, focused on creating strategic, results-driven video for brands, event organisers, and media platforms. We specialise in turning live experiences, brand messaging, and industry insight into content that actually performs—driving engagement, reach, and commercial value.
With strong roots in the events and exhibitions space, we deliver end-to-end video marketing solutions, from planning and production through to fast-turnaround edits and platform-ready assets. Our work covers everything from multi-stage conference coverage and same-day highlights to promotional campaigns, social content, and editorial video. We support both Mash Media’s internal portfolio and a growing list of external clients.
We’re a small, efficient team that prioritises quality, speed, and consistency—producing content that not only looks sharp but serves a clear purpose.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Producer based in Kingston Upon Thames, with regular travel to events across the UK. The role is hands‑on and suited to someone who’s comfortable owning projects end-to-end in fast-paced environments.
You’ll be responsible for filming, editing, and delivering video content across a range of projects, with a strong focus on live events. This includes multi-camera conference recordings, same-day edits, and post-event content such as highlight videos and promotional pieces.
You’ll also work closely with internal teams and clients to make sure content aligns with wider marketing goals, so understanding how video performs across platforms is just as important as technical ability. A key part of the role is leading freelance crew on-site, ensuring they’re briefed properly, working efficiently, and delivering to the expected standard.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in video production, ideally within events, marketing, or an agency environment
* Strong understanding of video as a marketing tool, not just a creative output
* Confident shooting in live environments, including audio capture and multi-camera setups
* Advanced editing skills, with the ability to deliver fast-turnaround content (e.g. same-day edits)
* Proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects (or equivalent tools)
* Solid post-production knowledge including colour grading, audio, and export workflows
* Able to manage projects independently and stay organised under pressure
* Comfortable leading and directing freelance crew on-site
* Strong communication skills when working with clients, speakers, and internal stakeholders
* Experience managing small teams or freelancers is important
