We are looking for a skilled communications assistant to join our client on an initial 6 month contract, with the potential of becoming a permanent job.
The position offers lots of flexibility with up to 3 days a week remote working, along with the opportunity to get involved with some exciting upcoming projects.
Communications Assistant responsibilities
* Assist in the development and execution of communication plans.
* Write and edit copy for internal and external communications, including press. releases, newsletters, social media posts, and website content.
* Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communications.
* Monitor and respond to company social media accounts.
* Help plan and coordinate events and conferences.
* Assist with media relations and outreach.
* Conduct research to support communications efforts.
* Help prepare materials for presentations, speeches, and meetings.
Required skills
* Experience in a similar position
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Experience with social media management.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
* Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign.)
