<div><p>An exciting opportunity exists for career development in the Norwich BCSP team. Due to secondments and age extension within the programme, we would like to offer 4.5 hours substantive, and 22.5 hours fixed term to end 30th April 2027 (total 27 hours), to an RGN with significant post registration and gastrointestinal experience (Please see attached Job Description).</p><p>A job share could be considered. Band 6 Hours- 27 hrs per week.</p><p>If you are considering applying for this post on a secondment basis, please discuss with your line manager prior to applying to ascertain whether this could be supported.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Independent management of telephone pre‑assessment clinics.</li><li>Attend bowel screening endoscopy lists.</li><li>Data entry to the national bowel screening database.</li><li>Support patients being given bad news and convey histology results to patients.</li><li>Attend cancer multidisciplinary meetings and participate in audit.</li></ul><p>The post involves providing high quality and seamless patient focused care for the Norfolk population, who are being screened for bowel cancer. The post holder will work towards becoming an autonomous practitioner and will be responsible for the delivery of care to service users.
