Do you love cooking wholesome meals and want to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives? Juniors Day Nursery in Boughton Monchelsea is seeking a passionate Nursery Chef to join our warm and welcoming team.
About Us
Set in a stunning converted Oast House surrounded by nature, our nursery offers a child-led, curiosity-inspired learning environment. We pride ourselves on serving fresh, nutritious meals that support healthy growth and development for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
The role offers working hours of 8.30-4.30 Monday to Friday.
Your Role
As our Nursery Chef, you’ll be the heart of our kitchen, responsible for:
* Planning and preparing daily meals and snacks using fresh, natural ingredients
* Catering for allergies and dietary needs with care and creativity
* Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards
* Managing kitchen stock and supplies efficiently
* Creating a positive, calm mealtime experience for children and staff
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in catering, ideally in a nursery or educational setting
* A love for cooking and a genuine interest in children’s wellbeing
* Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
* Friendly, approachable, and a great team player
