What you'll do
* Maintain, repair, and improve equipment across multiple sites to keep everything running at its best.
* Spot issues early, solve problems fast, and share your technical know-how to keep operations smooth.
* Work closely with operations, design, and production teams to stay compliant, efficient, and safe.
* Lead and contribute to continuous improvement projects — make things better, not just keep them ticking over.
* Support and mentor team members to strengthen engineering capability across the business.
What you'll bring
* A proven track record in
mechanical, electrical, and automation engineering
.
* Hands-on experience in
FMCG environments
, ideally using
Lean tools and techniques
.
* A Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in
Electrical
or
Mechanical
engineering — both would be a plus.
* A positive, collaborative approach — someone who builds trust, works cross-functionally, and motivates others.
* Bonus if you're
Gas Safe certified
, but it's not essential.
