The Role This is a full-time position teaching History across Key Stages 3–5. You will deliver engaging, knowledge-rich lessons that encourage critical analysis, structured argument and confident debate. Responsibilities include: • Teaching History at GCSE and A-Level • Preparing pupils for public examinations with academic rigour • Contributing to curriculum enrichment and scholarly discussion • Supporting university preparation for competitive courses • Participating fully in pastoral and co-curricular life Sixth Form teaching is a central element of the role, with seminar-style lessons that allow pupils to engage deeply with historiography, primary sources and analytical writing.
