Due to continued company expansion and New Projects C&D Engineering Consultants are hiring multiple Health & Safety Advisors/Managers for a large-scale industrial construction project based in the Chester area. C&D are an Award-Winning Engineering Consultancy that prioritise safe methods of working on some of the largest Projects Worldwide.
Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor/Managers
Location: Chester, Cheshire
Job Type: Full-time (site based)

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and review health & safety policies and procedures.
* Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety legislation and industry standards.
* Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, providing reports and recommendations.
* Deliver health & safety training to employees and management.
* Collaborate with different departments to promote a safe working environment.
* Keep up to date with new health & safety regulations and industry best practices.
* Maintain records of inspections, audits, and safety compliance reports.
* Act as the point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors.
* Support the development of emergency response and evacuation procedures.
Key Requirements:
* Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* NEBOSH/IOSH/ certification (or equivalent) preferred.
* Proven experience in a health & safety advisory role.
* Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practices.
* Excellent communication and ability to work with multiple contractors.
* Ability to conduct risk assessments and audits effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in large scale industrial construction.
* Ability to work with contractors and other key members of staff.
* First Aid or Fire Safety certification is an advantage.
* Up to date CSCS card.
