The role
Job Description Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar. This job is workstyle 5 - Hybrid. You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration. Angus is a diverse and beautiful area of Scotland where historic towns fringe sweeping beaches and majestic hills all waiting to be explored. Located on the east coast near Dundee, and only 70 miles from the capital city of Edinburgh, it offers a landscape rich in variety and adventure. The diversity of landscape, industry and communities, and the challenges and opportunities the twin nature and climate crises present, make Angus an exciting area of Scotland to work within the environmental sector. This is a newly created post, based within the Planning & Sustainable Growth Service where you will assist members on the Environment & Climate Change Team in delivering projects and statutory functions in a continuously developing environmental policy landscape.
