We are looking for care assistants who are kind, caring and committed to making a genuine difference to the quality of life of our clients.
DUTIES:
As a care assistant, you will support clients with tasks such as bathing, preparing meals, taking medication, giving them companionship and taking them out.
Our goal is to help our clients stay as independent as possible, so they can continue living safely in their own homes.
WHAT WE OFFER OUR CARE ASSISTANTS:
1. Contract with guaranteed hours: As one of our Surrey-based care workers or care assistants, we offer you a contract with guaranteed hours from 8-35 hours a week (depending on your availability). We work around your availability to suit your lifestyle and personal commitments.
2. Paid travel time & mileage: Unlike most care companies, we pay you for travel time, mileage, training, pension and holidays. We pay up to £15 per hour for our care assistant roles.
3. No previous experience or qualifications needed: You don’t need any experience or qualifications to become one of our care assistants. What’s important to us is the values you hold, as we can teach you the skills. You need a passion for helping others and should pride yourself on providing outstanding care. You will be reliable, trustworthy and responsible. You must also feel comfortable engaging in conversation with others.
REQUIREMENTS:
4. Proficient level of English
5. Be able to drive and have access to a ULEZ-compliant car
6. Live in North Surrey or within 35 minutes’ drive
7. Have the right to work in the UK (we don’t offer sponsorship)
TRAINING:
8. Our training consists of online e-learning modules and face-to-face training and shadowing.
9. You will always shadow each client before you see them alone.
10. Our training is continuous and we have monthly staff meetings and trainings.
