We are a small independent 42 place homely nursery, seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children aged 3-4 years. The Early Years Educator will work in a strong team of practitioners developing positive relationships with the children and other team members.

* Full time - 4 days a week

Responsibilities
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children and families.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive interactions among children.
* Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress and development.
* Observe and assess children's learning and development, maintaining accurate records.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies for enhancing the learning experience.
* Drive initiatives that promote health, safety, and wellbeing within the setting.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the classroom and resources.
* A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
* Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting is preferred.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A genuine passion for early years education and child development.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Knowledge of current early years frameworks and best practices.
