Job Description

Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Tooling

Location: Barrow-In-Furness (On-site)

Salary: £42,000+ Depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

* Responsible for all aspects of tooling from procurement to final delivery, liaising with all stakeholders and providing guidance and reporting as required
* Provide specialist advice on tooling options (applicability for task) and support the operations teams with tooling issues and problem solving where required
* Leading tooling, calibration and capability reviews as needed
* Be responsible for communicating and working with a variety of stakeholders to deliver packages of work which achieve a ‘business best practice’ solution
* Provide functional support to local and business wide improvement initiatives. (e.g. Visual management, Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People, Learning from experience etc .)
* Lead, develop, and motivate any reporting and assigned staff through good communications, open and honest management techniques, in keeping with the Company values, policies, & procedures
* Responsible for identifying own development opportunities
* Build effective internal and cross functional relationships to achieve overall Project requirements
