This role is expected to fulfill the responsibilities of a Theatre Scrub Practitioner, primarily in General Theatres.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Working as a skilled member of the theatre team, assisting surgeons and surgical teams during procedures.
2. Delivering high-quality, patient-centered care during procedures under various anesthetic types.
3. Developing skills and knowledge to support surgical practice following rotation plans.
4. Leading and supervising qualified and unqualified staff within the team.
5. Communicating effectively within the multidisciplinary team.
6. Taking charge of surgical lists and patient groups in the absence of senior staff, as appropriate.
