We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Apprentice. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in logistics, customer service, and inventory management while working towards a Level 3 Supply Chain qualification.
Responsibilities will include:
* System administration for customer orders
* Transport planning and coordination with 3rd party transport suppliers
* Liaison with production sites and suppliers to align with customer requirements
* Purchasing of services and products
* Inventory control and management
* Checking 3rd party invoices
* Supporting customers with supply chain enquiries
* Using IT systems for the supply chain, including company and customer systems, and adhering to cyber security and GDPR regulations and policies
* Developing and implementing a supply plan, including supply planning, production planning, demand planning, and operations planning
* Using order management tools to capture customer orders
* Analyzing data against supply chain key performance indicators to identify trends and themes
* Planning and adhering to customer lead times
* Using data analysis outcomes to inform decision making in the supply chain function
The ideal candidate will have:
* GCSE in English (grade 4/5) and Maths (grade 4/5)
