Renishaw is currently seeking to recruit a number of Assemblers to support current workload requirements. Successful candidates will work a double day shift (6-2, 2-10). The role involves the assembly and inspection of metrology products to specified quality standards, in line with a defined production schedule. Applicants will work as part of a team alongside Production Technicians and Engineers.
Responsibilities:
1. Assemble and inspect products to defined standards.
2. Follow all relevant instructions, both written and verbal, and highlight any deficiencies observed in the process.
3. Utilize skills and techniques acquired during training to work efficiently and maintain quality, ensuring production targets are met.
4. Inform supervision of any issues that may affect product quality.
5. Work safely at all times, complying with Health and Safety regulations and reporting concerns immediately.
Person Specification:
* High level of dexterity.
* Good eyesight, with spectacles/lenses if worn.
* Flexibility to adapt and continually improve.
* Ability and confidence to operate machinery, test equipment, and computer systems when needed.
* Ability to read and interpret build instructions accurately.
The successful applicants will have a 'can-do' attitude, work well within a team, and communicate effectively. A proven record of good timekeeping and attendance is also essential.
